KSN are proud to support:

Bromley 4-0 AFC Hornchurch
Bromley 4-0 AFC Hornchurch

Bromley recorded their first win of the season over newly promoted Hornchurch thanks to a great attacking first half performance and a solid defensive display.

The Ravens got off to a flyer when Pierre Joseph-Dubois converted a Richard Pacquette cross inside 3 mins. The momentum continued and it was 2-0 on 10 mins when Pacquette powerfully headed home a corner.

Mark Golberg’s side moved the ball round well at pace and The Urchins couldn’t match them on this form. Bromley went 3-0 up on 21 mins when Ali Chaaban flicked on a corner into Dubois’ path for the striker to score his second of the game.

The intensity of The Ravens play lessened but Hornchurch still finished the half without managing a single effort on goal.

The second half started with Bromley again looking to attack and they were awarded a penalty on 56 mins when Moses Swaibu was fouled in the box competing for a corner.

Pacquette wrong footed Urchins Keeper Woolley to make it 4-0 from the spot.

The game drifted from then on, but the result was never in doubt, Hornchurch’s only effort on goal saw them hit the bar and the rebound was cleared safely.

This was a much needed win for Mark Goldberg’s side and hopefully they can now use this to kick start the league campaign.
